Official Press Release: [Ari] Every time we go to the pediatrician she mentions that Diego is tall and skinny. That always seemed like bullshit because he looks short and fat to me like all babies do. Anyway, we got the official confirmation and he is is 70th percentile for length or height (or whatever it is called when you can only sit up), and 50th percentile in weight. We got us a tall and skinny baby.

When I heard this I thought -- it is obvious that Diego is tall and skinny. Just look at the basketball dominating family that he comes from -- The Obermans. I know, I know, some of you might be saying, wait look at the Romeros. That both Diego's grandfather and uncle on the Romero side are both over 6'. I am not saying that the Obermans are solely responsible (this is genetic material we are talking about here), just that we should give a nod to the original Tall and Skinny's. Given the Oberman Family genetics what else would he be? Even though it requires no proof, I will provide you with this recently-taken photograph of my brother. He and I are both descendents of the same line of towering Jews and I think that you will find this photograph irrefutable evidence that the Oberman genes are responsible for this whole Tall and Skinny thing.
